Jack Roe's extensive range of 35mm test films keeps growing and is pleased to add its new Aperture Plate Cutting test film (FTEAPC35) to the engineer toolbox.  This high precision and rock steady test film illuminates the screen with a grid that cross-references with a cutting machine in Nashville in order to produce custom-cut aperture plates by machine.  The plates are intentionally slightly undercut so that they can be finished by eye onsite.  Each plate can be engraved with the dealer's phone number in case of emergency and with the screen number to prevent any mix-ups in the booth.  Every screen is kept on file so that in the event of damage to plates a new custom-cut plate can be ordered and normally despatched for next day delivery direct to site.  This service is available exclusively for Cinemeccanica projectors.
