CIR splicer vs. Economy splicer
Jack Roe USA Inc recommends CIR splicers and CIR splicer parts over economy splicers. Why? Economy splicers are far inferior in quality; economy splicer parts do not last as long as CIR splicer parts they are not so precise or easily interchangeable. See below for an example of the perforator units. Ths CIR is machine-tooled for a precise, well made perforator. The economy splicer part is a combination of hand-made pieces that is poorly made right out of the factory. The story behind CIR and economy splicers is simply a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Economy splicers are suited to amateurs who will not be splicing very often. The quality of the CIR splicer is so high that we have never received a complaint from a disappointed customer regarding a CIR splicer.
This is a universal truth - Jack Roe USA Inc's 'economy' splicer parts are at least as good as all other 'economy' splicer parts available from other manufacturers.
